We really did have such a magical Lane there. We are in a different sort of neighbourhood now so not quite the same intimacy, but there are now a few places where we wave at the shop keepers we know, and that is how it begins. Thanks for the kind thoughts. It will be a long ride, so we better buckle in, and focus on the beauty and kindness we can hold onto.
