I hope you're having a marvellous time with family and friends in the US.
We're about to start watching a doco on The Isle of Wight on Britbox. I shall think of you as we watch - how different it all must seem to places like San Francisco.
We watched the first episode of that documentary and then never watched any more. It was a rather strange version of the Island, at least from a resident point of view. I suppose for tourists it may seem representative. Or possibly we should have watched more of it 🤣. We had a lovely visit to San Francisco, and it is continuing to be a wonderful time with friends and family.
Oh, that doesn't sound like a good recommendation. Perhaps fortuitous then that we were diverted by a series in which Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall travels through the West Country, making all kinds of wonderful discoveries in nature. It certainly spurred me on to what might interest me environmentally in my own local area - fish, birds, insects, plants - any or all.
I'm so glad you are having such a good time back with family and old friends. Looking forward to posts about your adventures...
Thanks for sharing this fabulous post, Sabrina - it was lovely to learn more about San Francisco, a city I've only ever seen on telly. Hope you've had a wonderful time on your latest visit! 🇺🇸🌁
Thanks Rebecca. San Francisco is a fascinating place, like most cities I suppose! Loving time with family and friends, as ever. We are getting a lot of rain, which I could live without, but it is winter 🌂. 😉
